Hey, theres a great way to help Ritual. Man these guys busted there asses for years trying to make games that the hardcore shooter community wanted to play. You/we are a very small minority of gamers and can't support the price it takes to maintain a studio that makes these types of games. I wish it wasn't true.
And now you want to screw up the company they are now a part of? Man that is lame. Grow up. Why not thank these guys for making games that you all enjoyed playing over the last ten years?
Don't forget, Tom moved on to make a competitive FPS for the CPL. It is not like the FPS genre is going to die. The Dallas shooter community will live on.

Well, here's hoping Valve decides to buy the SiN franchise from Mumbojumbo, as well as hire some of the ex-Ritual employees. Far as I know, that's the only way SiN will continue.

Let's do a summary here
EA absorbs Westwood in name.
EA releases Battle for Middle Earth.
EA tries to absorb Westwood into EALA.
Most of them ditch EA and form Petroglyph.

So, in essence, EA never killed Westwood. They simply went the way of the phoenix...since hell, I doubt even half of em wanted to relocate.

I have very high hopes for Petroglyph, and I haven't even bought BfME2. EA can go screw themselves for having the most annoying methods ever.
