just bought the game cant play?

i just bought this game like 3 days ago and i put the disc in and installed it and everything and when i open steam it says pre load complete or something and i cannot play it or register my cd key it only says to purchase the game online.

You need to activate your cd-key via steam, just klick the activate your product and insert your cd-key there when asked. If it won't work, contact steam support. You can also try to unistall steam and sin, reinstall steam and then just activate the sin cd-key, no need to install that retail cd, since it downloads it from steam with latest patches. I bought the game and installed it but when i try to play it nothing happens i went onto stream and i think i have to activate the game but i didnt get a product key with it

Do you mean retail(cd) version? Cd-key should be inbox, if not, contact your dealer where you bought it.

Since it's abandoned and all... why not just let it die?

Yep, there should be a cd key in the box somewhere, if not return it and show them there is no cd key.

brought the game back they said there was nothin they can do and they gave me the money back
dont know why they didnt have the key but they just didnt ah well
