Re: SIN 2 WHAT?!!? HAHHA woohoo

damn... now I came back, and find out the bad news.

Anyhow, so they tried to sell it to publishers... but it's not like they still can't?

I look at it this way, I'm just glad Ritual considered SiN2...

Re: Something for this community

just checked out your video

Uhhh I don't understand one thing...

Are you running some sort of jump script? I mean it seemed as if you were floating around when you jumped. Or was that how regular...

It's Jan. 1 and I'm bored so thought I would pay Ritualistic a visit (it's been like a year since I last visited).

Re: I have a question.About \"SincestFull123\"

What was Sincest used for again?

Anyways, from the sound of it, maybe try putting Sincest in your SiN directory... maybe it's as simple as that.

Everything rocks in it!

I love how they used some sound effects from SiN =)

Re: Got my new system!

I found a solution to that.

Look for "Gamma Panel 1.0", it works great, and you can adjust settings in real-time, while a game is playing.

SiN is the only game I've had a problem with darkness. I'm...

Re: Got my new system!

It was all I could afford at the very moment of purchase. I had planned for that config all along, and that I would just keep adding-on and upgrading through the year.

I will go to 1gig of DDR 400...

Re: Got my new system!

Speaking of SATA once more...

Western Digital has come out with their first SATA drive... and it's at 10k RPM =). See, you didn't have to wait too long to see that =).

It's only the beginning.

Re: Got my new system!

Perhaps SATA may only be a minor increase in performance and a moderate increase in conveniance... but for me to upgrade to SATA with my next HD purchase will be a huge step in performance.

Why?...

Re: Got my new system!

1. My only solution is to use a 3rd-party video tweaker to adjust brightness/gamma. I found one that does it real-time. But I would like to set a permanent level for brightness/gamma as a default for...

Got my new system!

Man am I happy. GTA3 is way better than I thought.

Anyways, I re-inst'd SiN... and have some issues:
1 - It's too dark! I have my brightness maxed out. Yes, I heard about nVidia cards being that...

Re: 60 fps and peripherial vision

Re: some trivial things I discovered in the maps

Thanks for showing it to me in the server!

That was pretty cool... and it's surprising how it's gone unnoticed given the amount of traffic going by there.

Re: CTF Maps

Unless he didn't patch his game =).

The last patch was an installer... not a zip file.

Also, all the patches check the original file before overwriting it, perhaps he had trouble there as well =).

Re: 60 fps and peripherial vision

Yea, he's confusing FOV (field-of-view) with FPS (frames-per-second).

The default FOV in all first-person games is 90 (has something to do with math and optics, don't ask me).

In SiN, just like all...

Re: some trivial things I discovered in the maps

Could you be a bit more specific?

Is it in the long curved hallway with the invisible powerup and armor and machinegun?

There are a bunch of "curvey" hallways leading into the rocket room buddy...

Oil Rig: where the leg armor and quantum is, on the outer sides of the big smoke stack, the sides are acutally "slick", like oiled up. Try and move against them and you slide. It isn't like that on...

Re: another old-skool\'r saying hello

I will probably be getting a GF4 4200 128mb. I would rather get any GF3 128mb... because in the summer is when I will get my more permanent card (All-In-Wonder 9700 Pro or higher)... so the closer I...
